Kanye West Appologizes to Taylor Swift After the VMAs

If you watched the VMAS last night you witnessed a young girl get her heart broken on stage in front of millions of viewers. When Taylor Swift won the best female video award, her first ever VMA, she went on stage to make a heartfelt speech. As she was speaking Kanye West crashed the stage and took her microphone to make a speech of his own.

He was upset that Beyonce did not win the award for her legendary video, Single Ladies. At the end of the day Single Ladies was one of the most influential videos of all time and Kanye was a little right, but the way he expressed his opinion was completely wrong. Taylor Swift left the stage in tears.

Later in the evening, Kanye posted this on his blog:

“I’M SOOOOO SORRY TO TAYLOR SWIFT AND HER FANS AND HER MOM. I SPOKE TO HER MOTHER RIGHT AFTER AND SHE SAID THE SAME THING MY MOTHER WOULD’VE SAID. SHE IS VERY TALENTED! I LIKE THE LYRICS ABOUT BEING A CHEERLEADER AND SHE’S IN THE BLEACHERS! …………………… I’M IN THE WRONG FOR GOING ON STAGE AND TAKING AWAY FROM HER MOMENT!…………….. BEYONCE’S VIDEO WAS THE BEST OF THIS DECADE!!!! I’M SORRY TO MY FANS IF I LET YOU GUYS DOWN!!!! I’M SORRY TO MY FRIENDS AT MTV. I WILL APOLOGIZE TO TAYLOR 2MRW. WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD!!!!
