We were all touched by the facinating and emotional tribute to Michael Jackson at the Staples center today. The most talked about moment of the entire evening is when Michael’s daughter Paris stood at the microphone and expressed how great of a father Michael was and how much she loves him. I don’t think a single person was able to watch that without feeling a pull at their heartstrings.

They were busy planning their lives together early this year but things just didn’t go as planned. Jermaine Dupri has been managing Janet Jackson’s career and as you can see from a string of canceled concerts and a not-so -popular album, that didn’t go so well. Apparently his inability to take care of her career carried into their personal relationship. The two are now spending time apart but have not confirmed the break-up yet.

According to W&W public relations, Janet Jackson was rushed to the hospital after she got “suddenly ill during the sound check” of her concert in Montreal yesterday.
Jackson hopes to reschedule the show.

No further information has been released. But, I will be keeping track of this story as it develops.

Maybe she got sick after Jermaine puked all over her! haha…

UPDATE: According to Rebecca Burns, a spokeswoman for the hospital, the Janet Jackson “was discharged after a few hours.” So, her stay at the hospital was brief and probably not anything that we should have to worry about.
