Chicago police found the white SUV and inside was a dead body of a small boy. Authorities are saying that the body belongs to Jennifer Hudson’s missing nephew, Julian King. The SUV was found away from the Crime Scene.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office has sent investigators to the scene in the 1300 block of South Kolin, where the boy was found around 8 a.m. today, an office spokesman said.

This is so sad, my prayers go out to Hudson’s family in this tough time.

I have a few more details about the slayings of Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother.

Jennifer’s sister, Julia Hudson was the one who found her mother and brother dead when she returned from work. She called the police and reported the missing child, her son, Julian King. Police believe the boy was abducted by his step-father William Balfour. Apparently, Balfour stole Jason Hudson’s (brother) car last night, a white Suburban. Balfour was taken into custody late last night by police. He reportedly is currently on parole after serving over six years for attempted murder. Balfour has not told police where Julian King is.

CHICAGO (AP) — The mother and brother of Jennifer Hudson were found shot dead Friday at a South Side home, and police were seeking a missing child who is the nephew of the singer and Oscar-winning actress. “We can confirm that there is an ongoing investigation concerning the deaths of Jennifer Hudson’s mother, Darnell Donerson, and her brother, Jason Hudson,” Hudson’s personal publicist, Lisa Kasteler, said in a statement. “No further comment will be made and the family has asked that their privacy be respected at this difficult time.”
