Thursday, June 24th the stars of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse walked the black carpet (yes, it was not red) at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. Robert Pattinson in a wine coloured suit and Taylor Lautner had girls lining up for days to get a glimpse of the studly actors. Kristen Stewart, possibly the luckiest girl on the planet, wore an Elie Saab white dress that looked absolutely stunning. Not so cute, Nikki Reed, in something that looked like a figure skating costume. My fave is Ashley Green looking like a goddess with her long blonde hair (a big difference from her pixie look on screen). Biggest gag moment on the carpet? Kellan Lutz and girlfriend AnneLynne McCord and their over affectionate PDA.

If this is all just a call for attention, it sure is a smart one, with GG premiering in September and New Moon in October, this is the best publicity.

Ashely returned to Vancouver today to work on rehearsals and the filming of Eclipse, the third movie in the Twilight Saga.

The movie won best drama as well as acting awards for leads Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart and supporting stars Cam Gigandet, Ashley Greene and Taylor Lautner.

Pattinson was also named Choice Male Hottie. “I really appreciate it. I have to say, the hottest teens of the year are Twilight fans!” he told the crowd during the taped event, which airs Monday night on FOX.

We already know that the adorable Jonas Brothers will be co-hosting the event with performances by Lady Gaga, Kelly Clarkson, Nickelback, and the Black Eyed Peas.

Also at the show this year will be Gossip Girl’s Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr, Twlight’s Taylor Lautner and Rachelle Lefevre, The Hill’s Audrina Patridge and Brody Jenner, 90210’s Anna Lynne McCord, Kim Kardashian and Rumer Willis.
